Duration: 4 days / 3 nights
Day 1: Guayaquil – Puerto Lopez. In the morning we cross the arid savannah of Santa Elena Peninsula to reach the Pacific coast. The trip continues through several fishing villages, beautiful beaches, rainforests and artisan villages. In the afternoon we arrive at the small fishing town of Puerto Lopez. We stay for three nights in a cozy hostería.
Day 2: Isla de la Plata. Full day tour by boat to Isla de la Plata. Explore this reserve together with a local naturalist guide. Depending on the season, there are blue-footed , red-footed and masked boobies, albatrosses and frigate birds. It is also an ideal place for swimming and snorkeling. you have good chances to see sea turtles. From mid June to the end of September you may also watch the giant humpback whales, an impressive natural event.
Day 3: Machalilla National Park. Today we visit the community of Agua Blanca located in Machalilla National Park and learn about their customs and traditions. After a typical lunch visit Los Frailes, one of the most beautiful beaches in the country.
Day 4: Puerto Lopez – Guayaquil. In the morning free time in Puerto Lopez to enjoy the beach and / or pool. In the afternoon return to Guayaquil.
